We will learn about a non-native, aggressive, and abundant vine growing around us -- Asiatic Bittersweet (Celastrus orbiculatus) -- and what abundant gifts for weaving these vines offer us! We will learn a way to green-weave a simple bittersweet basket, from harvest to finish, and practice awakening our hands to this age-old craft present in cultures around the world and across time.
