Bringing Fresh, Local Food to Your Table
What is Farm to Family?
Just Roots’ Farm to Family program provides CSA shares year-round to food insecure MassHealth patients across the state, in collaboration with our healthcare partners. Patients are referred to Farm to Family through their participating healthcare provider and receive home deliveries of fresh local produce and proteins, cookware, and nutrition supports paid for by MassHealth.
The Farm to Family program makes healthy, local food more accessible by providing:
- CSA Farm Share – Fresh, local produce delivered straight to your door year-round, including twice monthly protein packages with local meat and vegetarian options.
- “Ready, Set, Cook Kit” – A high-quality set of kitchen tools to make cooking at home easier and more enjoyable.
- Cooking Support & Workshops – On-call cooking support, easy-to-follow recipes, and online workshops designed to help you make the most of your CSA share.
