Three Season CSA
Welcome to the Three Season CSA: a 7-month farm share from November to May celebrating local food, New England cold-season resilience, and our beloved Pioneer Valley farms.
Nourish yourself through the seasons with our Three Season CSA. From autumn’s bounty to winter’s essentials and spring’s first tastes, experience the best of local, farm-fresh produce. Add on a local meat share to receive a variety of sustainably-raised proteins from Pioneer Valley farms.
The Produce Box
Each monthly produce box will feature a bountiful variety of local greens, roots, squashes, legumes, frozen ready-to-use fruits & veggies, and value-added products sourced from our own fields and other local farms. Your box will include a good blend of fresh things you’ll want to eat right away and things that will store well throughout the month!
PRICE: $400 ($57/month with SNAP & HIP)

The Meat Share
The meat share is back this year! Each monthly meat share will feature 3-4 items totaling approximately 6 pounds of meat. Each share will include a variety of different cuts of chicken, beef, pork, and fish.
We source our meat directly from our farm partners at Sage Farm, Reed Farm, Everyday Farm, Flagg Farm, Red’s Best and more! Learn more about the farms we purchase from and their practices.
PRICE: $400 ($57/month with SNAP)*
*IMPORTANT NOTE! The meat share is not eligible for monthly AutoSNAP payments through the DTA. Manual SNAP payments must be made each month before or at pickups.
Paying for your CSA
If paying with SNAP, payments will be processed once/month using Auto-SNAP, automatically deducting your payment of $57 on the day you receive your benefits. Please complete the Auto-SNAP form on your registration. Payments for produce shares qualify for the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) and will be partially or fully reimbursed to your EBT card depending on your household size!
If paying with Card or Cash: If you are unable to pay in full when you sign up, we ask that you pay a $100 deposit now, followed by three payments of $100 in November, December, and January. Payments may be made on the registration form, online by card by following links included in Just Roots emailed invoices, at a pickup, or over the phone by calling 413-325-8969. Your first payment must be made to secure your share.
Getting your CSA
Shares will come pre-boxed, pre-bagged and weighed by your farmers and ready for pick up. In addition to the produce, we will provide you with a vegetable storage guide and lots of recipes!

DELIVERY: Alternatively, you may request delivery* if one of the following circumstances describe your situation AND you live in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts:
- You have limited mobility or lack consistent transportation that prevents you from coming in-person
- You are immunocompromised
- You live at Leyden Woods, Oak Courts or Elm Terrace
