SUMMARY:Franklin County Food Council Food Policy Summit
DESCRIPTION:Do you have a stake in the Franklin County food system? Make your voice heard! The Franklin County Food Council hopes you will join us for our in-person Food Policy Summit on Friday\, June 23rd from 10-12 at Just Roots! \n\nLunch will be provided and the first 16 registrants who attend will receive a $50 grocery gift card! Transportation and mileage reimbursements are also available upon request.\n \nAttendance is free\, but please register at https://bit.ly/fc2summit!\n \nThanks to MDAR Local Food Policy Council grant funding\, this convening is part of an ongoing exploration of how the Franklin County Food Council can incorporate policy and advocacy work into its mission and function. \n \nAll past\, current\, and prospective Food Council members are encouraged to attend. We want to hear from as many Franklin County food system stakeholders as possible from farmers and farmworkers\, food and farmland access organizations\, food processors\, business owners\, municipal employees\, child nutrition directors\, farm to school advocates\, Franklin County residents\, and more!
