This summer, Just Rooters will be cultivating a one-acre “Food for All” garden at the Greenfield Community Farm. Come get your hands dirty! The ground has been enriched with bionutrients and tilled by our new tractor (thanks, Wisty!). Now it is ready to plant with leftover “starts” gleaned from local farmers.
All the food we grow will be donated to local hunger relief organizations. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We will be maintaining the garden with many enthusiastic volunteers—hopefully that means you, too. Tasks will include planting, weeding, and mowing. If you want to volunteer with the “Food for All” garden project, contact Hannah at hafjeld@gmail.com.
Beginning Wednesday, May 30 and continuing through the summer, we’ll be at the farm at the following times each week:
→ Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm
→ Sundays from 9am-12pm
We hope you can join us! Come regularly or drop in when you can. Families are welcome.
