Four Corners Second Graders visit the farm

On March 26th, over fifty second grade students from the Discovery School at Four Corners returned to the farm for their second visit this school year.  Their goal was to compare the land they saw last October with what they saw today.  Most of their time was spent discovering 1) small details of nature, such as dried puff balls, moss spores, insect gulls, and emerging leaves; 2) clues of how long ago people used the part of the farm that will become the Education Site. At the end of their exploration, the children were asked to write to the Just Roots Education Committee, explaining what they would do with the Education site to make it just right for learning and fun.
